The famous mistake cake


BEAT AND BAKE CAKE

Known  as Beppe’s  Mistake Cake


INGREDIENTS
4oz (125gr)           Butter
1 ¾ Cups              Self Raising Flour
1 teaspoon         Baking Powder
2                              whole large Eggs
1 teaspoon         Vanilla Essence
2 teaspoon         Almond Essence (or essence to taste)
½  Cup                   Milk


METHOD
Sieve dry ingredients in Mixer Bowl.
Mix & beat all ingredients together
Pour in a buttered and floured cake tin (7” (175mm) diam  or rectangular cake tin)
Bake for  +/- 45 minutes @ 375 F (190 C)
Let cool for 5 minutes in tin, then remove from tin and let cool on a rack.
