As a guy who lives alone, and there are many people who do, why is it that all the supermarkets insist on packaging things like vegetables and meat etc in bulk family packs. I have yet to find stuff packed for one, that I do not need to repack upon purchase so I can freeze it. Or I am forced to eat the same food for days in a row so as not to waste. I am do not like wastage or throwing things away. There are many things I hardly buy anymore because I as a single person cannot consume them before they go off.
I would love to challenge our supermarkets to start a line for the single people and see if it takes off,
Some vegetables are sold loosely which I can gladly partake of but those that are packaged are not that easy for me which results in me rather not having them and hence seldom eating vegetables anymore.

Crumbed Chicken or Meat a nice alternative way
Ok so the most common way is to buy bread crumbs from your supermarket, but here is a very tasty and easy alternative.
I buy a large packet of Crisps (your favourite flavour) and a transfer those into a plastic bag, take a rolling pin and I crush them into crumbs (normally I do a third of a packet at a time so as not to over fill the plastic bag.)
I then use melted butter or oil and dip my chicken or meat or brush it on, then i roll my food in the crumbed crisps.
